How to Rent a Moving Truck

1) Size of Truck or Cargo Van:
Match the moving truck or vehicle to the size and body of the things you wish to move.
2) Truck Rental Brand Names
Look for local brands or national and international moving brands that have local branches when going out to rent a moving truck. Prefer a moving company that has an office you can go just in case you need to.
3) Timing is Everything:
If you can, time your move so that it doesn't collide with national or local holidays. If your moving date does come on a holiday, you will pay more. Instead, look up local self storage services. It might come cheaper to store your truck than to ship your car or other belongings by using cargo vans or rental trucks on a national holiday.
